Mission 047 Report: Positional Development

This mission comes to us from Erin (IceCream), who was exploring Irregular units in her lists some time ago. I’m really enjoying using a second combat group of all irregular warbands and just sharing their irregular orders with command tokens when it’s relevant. This is particularly powerful when the warbands have very high movement values like Taigha:

It also works in cases where you need to power a TAG with just one more order, or something like a Bandit:

Or you can just blow all your command tokens on doing something silly and send your opponent into a panic.

In any case, give some irregular troops a try, especially if they’re not impetuous!

The Mission

1. Make a list with at least three irregular units, preferably not impetuous if your faction has the AVA for it.
2. Play a game and try to use those units as much as possible in the active turn, or use their orders with a command token.
3. Write in with your experience for the chance to win fabulous prizes!

• If you’re going to write a battle report, please use the battle report template below, and share it with [email protected].
• If you don’t want to write a battle report, that’s okay. Some prose capturing your thoughts and experiences is also acceptable!

If you share the Google doc with me, that saves me TONS of time handling the images. If you can, please avoid sending me a MS Word or LibreOffice file, and just click the “share” button in Google Docs. Sending me a file will get you caught by my spam filter!
