Can you tell us more about FZX and how the local economy functions?
Profitable businesses thrive here because of our privacy and lack of burdensome regulation. All of the human sphere’s leading private security services have an office here and there’s a thriving market in competitively discounted mining equipment. Of course, the staggering profitability of FZX and our crypto exchange show what you can do with a little Tunguskan expertise and just a fractional commission slice of Dewey’s gigantic economic pie. Have you heard about the deal where Whole Protein is buying Du-ε? Is it even for sale?
Pan Oceania’s claim to ownership of Dewey ignores several recent Adverse Possession precedents in the human edge. The legal title they bought ignores tunneling and development going back over ten years here. Sure, some of the more marginalized and secretive folk here might not have filed all their paperwork before excavating a home for themselves, but I’ve called for the O-12 to send surveyors to map out all the pre-existing settlements. Once that process has completed, any documented areas here will be owned by the colonists and not Whole Protein.
I’m not well acquainted with Colonnade Financial or their charming CEO Cynthia Edgeworth, so I don’t know the specifics, but it looks like those Whole Protein execs didn’t take time to aim before pulling the trigger!
From what I know, Colonnade does some trading on FZX but I’d have to talk to my operations team if you’re looking for something specific? They seem like a reputable company, and of course I’ve met Cynthia at some conferences, but any specific details escape me at the moment. You know how these things go, lots of people at conferences!

We’re thrilled to announce that in conjunction with DISASTEROID! and the Oxyd network we’ll be streaming full fidelity events from Dewey’s cage of doom, the FZX Arena. Sometimes being a clandestine backwater has meant Dewey is off Arachne and Mayanet, so we’ve found our own ways to amuse ourselves. Dewey is home to a no holds barred Triphammer dueling league, and that’s not the only event we host here at FZX Arena. Next month, FZX will be sponsoring the 3rd Annual Human Edge Geological Conference at Averroes Hospital Campus, and we’ll be hosting a Mixed Martial Arts tournament for the delegates. Some of those prospectors know how to swing a punch!
