Human Edge Geological Conference (and HI MMA Tournament)
Conference delegates are just starting to arrive on Huey for the 3rd Annual Human Edge Geological Conference (and MMA tournament). Asteroid mining is big business in the Human Edge and surging investment over the last 3 years has drawn in huge numbers of Geologists and Prospectors to make their careers in this emerging industry. Averroes Hospital Campus has generously offered to host the event this year, contributing two large lecture theatres and a gymnasium for the three conference tracks. Don’t forget to sample the complementary Hummus platters!
To non-geologists, the cross-over with Mixed Martial Arts might be surprising, but not so for any who’ve visited or studied at Concilium Geological College. The student lead Martial Arts societies are so pervasive and popular that even the scrawniest academics who spend just a short semester there can’t help leaving with skills to rival fighting legends like Señor Massacre or Achilles. Whenever a group of geologists re-unites, there’s sure to be all kinds of extra-curricular brawls and it’s already tradition for the second evening of the conference to feature a Mixed Martial Arts tournament sponsored by the most popular brands of mining exoskeletons.
This year we’re thrilled to have extremely generous last-minute conference sponsorship and eye-watering cash prizes for the tournament from FZX! We are all so excited to hear the Keynote presentation from financial wunderkind Samantha Ether Moneylady-Harboil, who will be sharing the amazing success story of FZX and how the company is doing after throwing aside the secrecy of Dewey’s cavern complexes and stepping forward to rank as one of the leading public financial companies of the Human Edge!
